Clark County Fire District 6 is working closely with local public health departments and state agencies to respond to the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus. Based on CDC guidelines and input from our physician supervisor, we’re working to ensure the safety of our personnel while continuing to provide the high level of emergency response that our communities expect.
District leadership, in coordination with state and local partners, have put plans in place to ensure the continuity of emergency operations. This includes updated protocols for 911 call takers, refreshed training for personal protective equipment, and patient assessment strategies that limit the potential for exposure.
