Many ways to make a difference
Clark County Fire District 6 (CCFD6) firefighters work and train to protect its citizens and provide outstanding service. Our firefighters, both paid and volunteer, take pride in their abilities to successfully handle any situation that may arise.
There are several ways for you to train and serve your community. They are:
- Career Employment: firefighter or firefighter/paramedic
- Volunteer firefighters: train and serve as a volunteer firefighter
- Community Volunteers
- CERT, Community Emergency Response Team: trained members of our community act as an extension to first responder services during a disaster by providing immediate assistance until professional services can take over
- Cadet: training for motivated high-school aged people to get real-life experience and a view into the heart of the Fire Service
