The 43rd Annual Hazel Dell Parade of Bands is on Saturday, May 19th, 2007 beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Fire District 6 has been involved with coordinating the annual parade with the Hazel Dell/Salmon Creek Business Association for 28 years. The largest parade in SW Washington, this year's parade theme "Wild Wild West" focuses on celebrating the West's heritage.
A variety of groups participate in the parade, including high school and middle school bands, equestrian entries, antique cars, fire engines, baseball teams, businesses, boy scouts, and much more. The grand marshals this year will be Doyal and Marlene Schell, long-time business owners who are very active in the community.
Fire District 6 personnel assist with planning, processing parade applications, and with staging entries into the parade.
Recent changes in registration are sure to result in a bigger and better parade.
