The Clark County Fire District 6 Board of Fire Commissioners will be conducting a community attitude survey by mail during the next few weeks. The 22-question survey will be mailed to random a selection of approximately 5,000 citizens residing in the district’s service area.
The survey is designed to assess current attitudes and opinions about the district, the services it provides, and its overall role in the community. According to Fire Commissioner Dick Spring, “We’re really looking for feedback here. For most residents, there just isn’t time to attend a regular board meeting. This seemed like the best way to see what people are thinking.”
Residents who don’t receive a copy of the survey in the mail will be able to pick one up at the district office at 8800 NE Hazel Dell Avenue. To help ensure confidentiality, the district has engaged the services of a private firm to tabulate the survey results. Completed surveys should be returned no later than March 24.
