Fire Chief David Taylor
Chief Taylor began his career in the fire service while serving in the U.S. Air Force in 1976. He was hired at Fire District 6 in 1981 and completed his education to become certified as a paramedic in 1983. He served as one of the first firefighter/paramedics at Fire District 6 until his promotion to Lieutenant in 1987. Chief Taylor was appointed to Battalion Chief in 1992, Assistant Chief in 1996 and to the position of Fire Chief in September 2003.

Deputy Chief Jerry Green
Chief Green began his career in the fire service as a Battalion Chief with Clark County Fire District 1 and also spent 11-years as the department's Fire Chief. He was then hired by Clark County Fire District 6, 11 & 12 where he served 2-years as Division Chief/Volunteer Coordinator for the Fairgrounds Fire Facility Board (Station 15-1). His appointment to Assistant Chief of Administration occurred in April 2004. In January 2006, Assistant Chief Green moved laterally to the position of Assistant Chief of Operations in order to become more familiar with the District's entire operation. Jerry Green was promoted to Deputy Chief in February 2008. With his promotion, Deputy Chief Green will be taking on additional responsibilities in the operation of Fire District 6. He will be working closely with Chief Taylor and the Board of Fire Commissioners in his new role.
Chief Green has attended numerous management classes through the National Fire Academy and other agencies throughout his career. He is one of five personnel who hold the position of Mobilization Officer in Southwest Washington.

Assistant Chief of Administration Bill Cline
Assistant Chief Bill Cline began his career at Fire District 6 on December 1, 1979. Chief Cline worked his way from Firefighter, to Lieutenant, Captain, Battalion Chief, Division Chief of Training to Assistant Chief of Operations on April 1st, 2004. In January 2006, Assistant Chief Cline moved laterally to the position of Assistant Chief of Administration.
Bill Cline has a history of being active in the community. He has served on various school committees, including PTSA, Safe Schools Task Force, Curriculum Advisory, and voluntary groups for his children's schools. He has also been involved with the American Cancer Society Relay for Life for many years.
Chief Cline graduated locally at Washougal High School, went on to earn his Fire Science Degree from Portland Community College, and has attended many advanced management and training courses.
